We are not officially affiliated with any specific denomination, association or movement, but we firmly believe in the unity of the Body of Christ, and we intentionally seek partnership with leaders, ministries, and organizations that share similar beliefs, missions and values.
1. The Scriptures.
We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are infallible, inerrant in the original writings, the final authority for faith and practice, verbally and plenary inspired by God.
I Samuel 23:2; Isaiah 55:11; Matthew 4:4, 24:35; Romans 15:4; I Corinthians 10:11, 14:36-37; II Timothy 3:15-17; I John 1:1-3.
2. The Godhead.
We believe in the one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; yet are one and the same. One in essence, character, and eternality. Separate in purpose, personality, and function.
Isaiah 45:21-22; Jeremiah 10:10; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19, 3:17; John 1:1-14, 10:30.
3. The Person of Christ Jesus.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin, and is true God and true man. He is alive today in heaven. We believe in His imminent return, and His present ministry of intercession for us.
Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38; John 1:1-14; Galatians 4:4; I Timothy 2:5; 1 Cor 15:1-8
4. Man's Creation.
We believe that man was created intimately by God. Man is in the spiritual image of God, with a mind, will and emotions. Then he sinned and by that incurred death.
Genesis 1-3; Exodus 20:11; I Corinthians 15:21; Romans 6:23.
5. Satan.
We believe that Satan is a fallen angel. He is the enemy of God and man, and he will suffer eternal conscious punishment in the lake of fire.
Genesis 3:1-6; Isaiah 14:12-20; Ezekiel 28:11-19; John 8:44; I John 3:8; Revelation 12:9-11, 20:10.
6. Atonement for sin.
We believe in the death of the Lord Jesus Christ as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins (acts against the character of God), that all who have faith in Him are justified by grace on the grounds of his shed blood.
Romans 3:21-30; I Peter 1:18-19, 2:24; Ephesians 1:7, 2:13; Revelation 1:5; 12:11.
7. The Born Again Believer.
We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit, and by him become children of God. All such are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and baptized once and for all time by him into that spiritual body (the church) of which Christ is the head.
John 3:3-21, 1:12-13, 14;16-17; Romans 10:9-13; Colossians 1:18, 24.
8. The Resurrection.
We Believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of Jesus, and His ascension into Heaven. He is the Advocate for the believers, and eternally appointed as High Priest.
Psalms 16:10; Matthew 29; Mark 16; Luke 24; John 20:21; Acts 1:10-11, 2:22-36; I Corinthians 15; Hebrews 5:1-10, 7:23-28; I John 2:1.
9. Eternal Security.
We Believe in the eternal security of all who received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, but this commitment has to be real and sincere, not just emotional.
John 3:16, 36, 10:28-29; Romans 8:35-39; Ephesians 1:3-14; II Timothy 1:12; Jude 1:1.
